1、 What is freeze-dried food?

The fresh material is quickly frozen to make the water content change to ice, then move the material to vacumm stove for drying, during which the ice is changed to steam directly without the step of liquid. By this way, the water content of fresh material is removed.

During the whole water-removing process, the cell structure of fresh material is well maintained, which results in sponge-like dried foods that can be returned the original appearance after re-dehyration in boiled water. All the nutrition substances are kept, so it tastes the same good as the fresh materials.

3、What is the production flow chart of FD foods?

Freeze-dried food products are generally produced as the following steps:

RM Triming→Washing→Cutting→Quick Frozen→Freeze Drying→Sorting→Metal Detecting→Inspection→Packaging→Finished Product
